Eastmont’s Meteorological Success

       Eastmont was a small city in the Northern California foothills amidst mountain after mountain. Eastmont was well-known for its meteorological program, considered one of the best in the U.S. college rankings and was generally obsessed with all things that had to do with the weather. Eastmont was beautiful, small, and replete with numerous interesting things to do and was cheap if you wanted to stay there for the night. It was so beautiful with lots of colorful homes, wonderful stores and shops, and laid back populace. Eastmont had numerous attractions, but its main one was its weather forecasting center, dubbed “Weather Center Forever”, located in the west side of the town. Eastmont was well-known for its meteorological success and in 2009 they had completed a large, new and upscale wing of their center. The citizens of Eastmont were so proud of it that they dedicated a holiday on April 6th to commemorate the opening of its new section. Weather forecasting became much more accurate with this new addition and Eastmont became sort of like a meteorologist’s haven.

        Inside “Weather Center Forever” there were numerous computers, desks, and meteorologists hacking away at large and copious amounts of data. Their computers told them so much data that it was hard to keep up with it all. The meteorologists were crunching numbers for hours on end, so it was interesting seeing them number crunch so studiously. Weather Center Forever was known for its meteorological progress and it was true that it made many contributions to meteorology, such as tornado mechanism understanding, cloud and rain classification, and snow formation data collection. In Weather Center Forever, people enjoyed their high-paying, low risk, and comfortable jobs crunching numbers about weather phenomena. Weather Center Forever was a weather person’s heaven and had so much to see, do, and experience. The weather center had lots of cool things such as the cloud exhibit, which showcased the many different kinds of clouds. Weather Center Forever was beautiful, interesting, and varied in its interior. Eastmont was obsessed with meteorology since they thought it provided good money for its citizens, was beneficial for human development, and interesting for all the amazing stuff it had done past, present, and future. Eastmont’s citizens were aware of the importance of the Weather Center and told their kids to study meteorology, as well. The cozy, tight-knit atmosphere of Eastmont lended itself to a culture of academia, and also one focused on home design. Eastmont was thus famous for two things; homes and meteorology. It was beautiful to see such a small town have such a distinctive culture. Eastmont was wonderful.
