Christmas Day

It was a week until Christmas Day and Andrea was still wondering. What would she get for Christmas? A doll? A toy? Something else? Whatever she got, it was going to be wonderful and a good surprise.

Andrea and Jane were two sisters in their home of four. They were the daughters of John and Mary and loved their home since it provided comfort and shelter. It was Christmas Eve and the snow fell like white flakes from the pitch black sky. Andrea and Jane were happy to be celebrating such a wonderful and amazing holiday. It was so fun and so exciting being able to lead such merry lives without sadness. Andrea was 15 and Jane was 12. The two sisters couldn't wait for Christmas Day. 

The two woke up to a morning of ice covered bushes, trees covered in more ice, and a sky of chilly air when they knew they had presents waiting for them downstairs. They hurried down and got their presents and were excited to open them. Andrea got a beautiful sweater of orange yarn while Jane got a lovely pair of mittens of white yarn. Both sisters were so grateful being able to get something so soft, beautiful, and useful for the holidays. They couldn't wait to show off their presents to their friends. Christmas Day had been exciting and extraordinarily fun.
