Suffering

Pain is a teacher

Reminding us that

It’s important to remember

Life’s in a way a rat

We all have problems, sickness, and fatigue

But remembering our pain

We send pain back to its league

Sickness is a form of rain

Sadness encased in a drop of water

Our tears tell us we are human and on Earth

Sometimes in life we falter

Due to our happiness and joy dearth

Happiness comes and it goes

Like the weather it changes in an instant

Our worries, wandering, weeping, and woes

Tell us that life’s a mood hunt

We try to find peace, stability, and bliss

Instead we find bitterness, greed, and envy

Maybe later we’ll find a world without fist

Arguing, anger, attitude, and mean

Once we find our world of smile

We’ll learn the meaning of life

Be happy, be thankful, be a child

It’s no fun leading strife
