Deep Paradise

Deep Paradise

A Poem by BlueShadow

Walking past the trees

I see something beautiful

A field without fallen leaves

It’s something blissful

I walk onto the stage

Feeling optimistic strangely

Getting rid of the world’s rage

I feel gleefully wonderfully

I lay my back on the field

The grass doesn’t care

I’m surprised by its kneel

Obeying my body’s stare

I feel so happy and at peace

I feel like a hundred bucks

It feels like an eternity, sheesh

I fall out of my trance of luck

Back into the world I go

Away from dream land

I miss nature’s effortless flow

And back into the city’s hand I go
