Wilma Gillinly's Life And DeathA Story by BlueShadowShelby Damsey was born in Granity Wall, Missouri and loved to hike, play with her dog, Ruff, and also had a sprawling garden in the front of her home. Shelby had many friends and loved to talk to them when she felt alone, sad, or disheartened. Shelby was very good at hiking and often she hiked at Mt. Paul in the north of Granity Wall. She was good at hiking because she had practiced so much and so often, that she lost track of how many times she hiked there. The hiking trail which was her favorite was called Neon and was around three miles long. She started at the base of the mountain and hiked upwards for about an hour. She brought along with her some water in a water bottle, chips, and a backpack. To her, hiking was enjoyable, fun, interesting and endless in terms of room for improvement. Hiking was her favorite activity and she loved to do it often. She felt like it made her lose weight, look better, and also improve her health. Shelby was extremely happy to be a hiker. She enjoyed her life. Her dog, Ruff, was a Shiba Inu which to her was the most adorable dog in the whole universe. She admired Ruff’s incessant barking, playful nature, and kind temperament. Her dog was her way of releasing her stress, anxiety, worries, and tears from her job at the local supermarket. Whenever she got home, she fed Ruff, played with him, and walked him around her house. Shelby loved Ruff’s carefree nature and loving heart. Whenever she wasn’t hiking or playing with her dog, she often watered her garden with her aquamarine watering pot and also tended to her flowers and soil. She made sure the soil was perfectly colored by making the pH of the soil about six. The soil’s pH was monitored by a special device she had called the Readometer, which instantly measured the soil's acidity by inserting it into the ground and assessing how acidic or alkaline it really was. Shelby admired her own ability to tend to gardens in a hardworking, logical, dutiful, and careful way. Shelby impressed her neighbors with her beautiful garden which was full of roses, lilies, daisies, chrysanthemums, and tulips. Her garden was very beautiful, fragrant, amazing, and impressive. Her neighbors often wondered what she did to make such a beautiful, colorful, and diverse range of flowers seem to fit together so well. She just replied that she was naturally good at gardening and that it took her a few years to make it to the level that she’s at today. Her garden was very lively, vibrant, and awesome. She loved making her garden look big, interesting, and cool. She admired her garden’s natural sparkle and was always in the mood to make it even better. Over time, she added more flowers, like sunflowers, irises, and geraniums. Her garden was her way of maintaining sanity amidst a world of craziness, selfishness, and crime. Her garden was extremely cool, and she secretly within herself bragged about how beautiful it was. Her garden was like anther pet to her, in need of constant attention, water, and tenderness. Her garden was quite a sight. She was very proud of it and it made her seem more sophisticated as well as cultured. Her garden was breathtakingly colorful. She enjoyed making others jealous of her gardening ability. Crawford Gillinly loved to boat, fish, woodwork, and write. He was thirty-two years old and enjoyed sitting on the couch doing nothing, and watching the television. He was born in Islingston, Rhode Island and was now living in Gettonsburg, Connecticut. He loved to boat which meant he got out his rowboat and rowed in the lake and often looked at the shimmering nature of the water and its seemingly infinite cleanliness. When he got out his boat and boated in Lake Canarie, he felt at peace, blissful, and very content with his life. Crawford enjoyed boating because it made him feel suspenseful, too. Boating to him was like skydiving to many. He enjoyed the rush of adrenaline that coursed through his brain and made him feel like a king. Whenever he boated, he felt it was up him and him alone to make sure the boat doesn’t capsize. He loved boating and its slightly dangerous nature. Boating was extremely fun to him because it made him feel so alive and happy. Another thing Crawford loved doing was fishing, which was fun because he never knew exactly what fish he’d get and he also loved buying the supplies at the local fishing store. Fishing was very interesting to him because it made him feel like he was hunting for gold in a mine that had an unlimited amount of ore. Fishing was incredibly time consuming, but he enjoyed every second that he fished. Whenever he was fishing, he felt like he was hunting, or digging for treasure, or mining. Fishing was like going on a hunt, ready to catch whatever was near the bait and hook. In addition to fishing, Crawford enjoyed woodworking, which to him was like mechanical engineering because it involved dextrous hands, a lot of math, and careful selection of the right kind of wood in the right amount. Crawford loved to woodwork because it made him feel like he was doing something useful for society. Crawford loved to woodwork because he enjoyed working alone, being happy, and using his hands. He loved woodworking because it was so difficult, yet also rewarding. Woodworking made him feel productive and useful to others. It made him feel so happy. Lastly, but not least, Crawford loved to write. Whenever he wasn’t fishing, boating, or woodworking, he would write about stories that his father used to tell him, such as stories of camping, love, and dreams. Crawford loved to write because it released in him pent up emotions and feelings and experiences that only he felt like he ever knew about. Writing was a way for him to visualize things that seemingly couldn’t be visualized. Whenever he wrote, he felt so calm, relaxed, and in a trance because he felt like it made his day more enjoyable and interesting. He wrote because his stories often revealed aspects of love, friendship, life, and experience that didn’t seem to be put on paper before. Crawford loved to write about his favorite things to do in life such as the aforementioned hobbies in addition to new things. Writing was an outlet as well as a way to create new ideas. He enjoyed doing both at the same time by writing. However, Crawford always felt like in his heart he was missing something and he wasn’t sure what. Eventually, he knew what he needed. On June 2nd, 2001, Crawford was skiing at a ski resort because he was on vacation leave and wanted to get away from the craziness of life at work and home. He was so excited to see the ski resort and started skiing right away. He was quite good at it, being so tall and muscular. Crawford decided it then time to head back inside the ski resort center and cool off for a bit. As he was sitting down on a bench, a woman named Shelby Damsey came up to Crawford and asked what he was doing. Crawford simply replied that he was just resting, gaining enough energy for another hour of skiing. Shelby and Crawford then began dating where they got to know each other’s financial situation, homes, interests, likes, and dislikes. After years of dating, they finally agreed to marry on January 23rd, 2006, where they married at Glickton Church in Pemrose, Idaho. The church itself was incredibly ornate with a gothic architecture and numerous dragon rainspout dotting the church everywhere. Glickton Church was tall, big, beautiful, and decorative, with numerous paintings of saints and other Christian motifs. The church was so beautiful because of its glass paintings and impressed even the most hardcore of designers. The wedding ceremony lasted around two hours and involved choirs singing, the wedding guests applauding, and the preacher saying a prayer or two. Once the wedding was about to finish, Crawford and Shelby kissed each other on the lips and officiated the beginning of their union. Deep inside, they felt so happy because they were able to marry each other and complete their years of dating and getting to know one another. When they finally married, it was like their life was about to begin, and they felt a feeling of extraordinary happiness. They felt so excited the car back to the hotel they were staying at and entered their hotel room feeling full of glee. Crawford asked Shelby, “Let’s move to Oklahoma. I’ve heard they have beautiful houses, a nice, flat terrain, and a gorgeous sky that only Oklahoma apparently has.” Shelby smiled at Crawford and said, “Sure, but let’s make sure that our home is comfortable, suited to our tastes, and reasonably priced.” Crawford simply agreed to Shelby’s demands and they soon moved to Oklahoma. They moved to Augustville, Oklahoma and found a cheap house consisting of three floors, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The front lawn looked like it was spoiled with love and the backyard looked like it was taken care of by numerous people. Augustville was an exceptionally beautiful city to live, complete with two malls, numerous stores, a park, and several museums. It was a great place to live, as well as a great place to raise a child. They found their new home quaint and comfortable, and were pleased at its magnificence and awe. For their first day in Augustville, they went to the Art Museum of Innovation located a mile north. They found the artwork there to be beautiful, amazing, and stunning. They loved the artwork there and were impressed by the detail, carefulness, and beauty of the paintings’ extraordinary craftsmanship. The Art Museum of Innovation was extremely ornate, and costed ten dollars per person. Having been married for about four years, Crawford and Shelby decided it was time to have a child. They gave birth to a baby girl on August 10th, 2010 and didn’t know what to name her at first. The baby girl was held in Shelby’s arms for several hours, with Shelby staring at her newborn infant with care and love and Shelby marveling at how wonderfully made and beautiful her child was. She was taken to a baby room, where she got to spend alone time with her newborn when she finally came to the realization of what to name her. She named her Wilma, a name she thought was unique, appropriate, and not too stupid. Wilma Gillinly was a wonderfully made newborn infant who was extremely fragile, delicate, and weak. Shelby Gillinly took Wilma home and took care of her until Wilma reached one year old. She kept on taking care of her until she was three and recorded all the things Wilma had done first. Wilma’s first word spoken was “towel”, because she was always with towels and playing with them and making them her own toys. She also showed that her favorite toy was letter blocks, with her favorite being the block “D”. Wilma was a fanatic of these letter block toys because she loved the shape, size, and idea of playing with the alphabet in these little block toys. Wilma’s favorite television show was “Margaret Jones”, a television show where Wilma got to watch Margaret go on adventures to different islands with each island having a new species of dragon, some of which could breathe fire, wind, and water. The dragons were incredibly strong and could fly for long periods of time. The dragons were very beautiful and were extraordinarily smart, strong, and cunning. She loved watching Margaret, a ten-year-old go on trips to different islands and play with the local dragons there. Margaret was an extremely courageous and adventurous child, two qualities young three-year-old Wilma was intrigued by. Wilma admired Margaret’s dedication, love, and understanding of dragons. It was a fun show for Wilma to watch. Wilma when four loved to finger paint different scenes, such as rainbows, butterflies, and clouds. She loved being able to paint many different scenes in her paintings because she was naturally talented at drawing and art and could make very rudimentary drawings, paintings, and other artwork. Wilma was an extremely busy child, always making her art and watching television and playing with her blocks. She was extremely talented and loved being able to make beautiful artwork as well as making beautiful scenery. Wilma was a kind, courageous, and loving five-year-old, who enjoyed making everyday life seem interesting and unique. She enjoyed childhood because she got to play with her blocks and watch television. She loved having fun to a degree that wasn’t previously thought imaginable. Wilma loved playing with her blocks as well as finger painting but also loved television. She lived in a beautiful, sturdy home that was close to the Art Museum. She sometimes went to the museum with her parents, neighbors, and with her mom only. In the Art Museum, Wilma saw paintings of old renaissance people and high grade pottery made of fine clay.
