Motel Hotel

A Story by BlueShadow

John Stewart was a twenty year old man who loved to walk and take adventures to new places. The town he lived in was famous for its large forest, called Forest Evergreen, and was stunning in terms of the number of trees it had and how large it was. Forest Evergreen was extremely beautiful, and the trees there gave off a scent of resin. John was about to take a hike there and see what he could find this time. Before, he had taken countless hikes and found nothing, but today he felt a feeling in his stomach that today was going to be different. He got out of bed and put on his hiking outfit and backpack and headed out.

John Stewart felt so happy about being able to hike and explore Forest Evergreen that he never gave it much thought that he was hiking a lot. He lost a lot of weight and was now one hundred and fifty pounds. John Stewart was known for being very kind, understanding, and thoughtful, which made him an excellent friend and worker. John Stewart was good at hiking as he had done this for many years past. He always hiked at Forest Evergreen to see what he could find next.

John Stewart hiked and hiked and hiked until he found a cave opening. The opening was tall enough for him to walk in, and dark like the night. He entered it, turned on his flashlight, and began exploring the cave with anticipation. The cave smelled like wet dirt, and there were stalagmites everywhere. The cave was extraordinarily beautiful and had lots to offer and see. Looking around the cave, John saw rubes, diamonds, and emeralds, around the cave and everywhere within it, and was stunned by the cave’s size, natural beauty, and diverse number of ores. The cave was extraordinarily large and had many pathways going left and right and up and down. The cave was dark during the daytime and had lots to see and do.

John picked up a piece of a ruby and saw that it was beautifully red, hard as rock, and lustrous like diamond. John wasn’t sure how much it was worth but he did know that rubies were considered precious and expensive in the town he lived in. John left the cave and went to the Jewelry Center and gave it to the woman for her to inspect. John looked at the woman and asked if she was surprised by the ruby’s luster and shine.John was told that the ruby was indeed very valuable, and that she would give John one hundred dollars for the ruby.

John felt pleased an exchanged the ruby for cash and got the hundred dollars in cash and cited the ruby store. John wasn’t sure what he was going to do with the hundred dollars, but was thinking how. H e went home and plopped onto the couch in the living room and was stunned by the couch’s cohort and plushness. The couch was very comfortable to sleep inland often times John would sleep in it instead of his own bed. John was excited to be able to sleep in a place that would be comfortable, soothing, and pleasant. The couch fit all of his needs perfectly. John was an extremely happy owner of a hundred dollars. It was going to be a fun day.

John slept for the night and rose to a new morning, one full of beauty and shine.

The sunlight poured into his room, and John felt super happy. Today was going to be an interesting day, he thought.
