Embraced by Darkness

The candlelight illuminates the room

The dark runs away

We find ourselves with each other

And outside hangs the moon

The storm blew out the lights

Our sadness illustrated by the black

Feeling good, I feel merry

No one dares to fight

In our little room downstairs

I feel safe and protected

The darkness has fled away

We’re back to our normal fair
