Fall

Fall

A Poem by BlueShadow

Fall

The trees sway in agreement with the wind

Their leaves are orange, brown, and green

The leaves remind us of what season we’re in

Our lives are amazing and beautiful at the same time

I love how pretty and how gorgeous fall is

The beautiful and wonderful and cozy atmosphere

Of bliss, rebirth, and resurrection

The fall is extraordinarily tranquil

With lots of beauty, splendor, and good weather

The leaves fall to the ground

And I sit and stare, staring at death

Going into the house I greet my dad

He’s a good cook and knows how to make food

Pumpkin pies, rotisserie chickens, and pumpkin bread

The thought makes my belly feel a yearning

My dad comes home and it’s finally time to celebrate

The food melting in my mouth like butter

The time seeps on by like maple syrup

Fall is here to stay

I go outside to see the trees

I’m stunned by their beautiful presence

Fall makes me wonder about life’s origins

Death, birth, life, love

It’s all a cycle

Fall is beautiful

Fall is wondrous

Fall is enchanting

Fall is stunning

Fall is captivating

I love fall, dearly

A celebration of autumn or fall if you prefer. A season of wonderful colour and you capture that well in your lines. I like how you switch the scene from out of doors to inside your home. Wonderful cooking smells wafting across the page. Lovely descriptive writing.
