My Worth

My Worth

A Poem by BlueShadow

Worth

Looking at the bar of gold, I envy its shine

Smelling the bar of soap during bath-time, I desire its smell

Holding the plush elephant’s paws in hand, I love its presence

Using the computer to listen to music, I admire its complexity

Looking at the sun and feeling its warmth, I understand its necessity

So where do I get my worth? A human body made of water?
I know I am valuable, precious, irreplaceable, amazing, wonderful

I am worthy, I am amazing, I am of value

I love myself and my life to a high degree
