Seven Haikus

Seven Haikus

A Poem by BlueShadow

Beaches draped total

Oil and gas everywhere

The smell lurks and stays

Hearing the music

I admire its rhythm

My feet agree, too

Going to table

Eating jelly and steamed fish

I feel stunned and awed

I pray for comfort

Hoping tomorrow lasts long

Wisdom, peace, and joy

I go downstairs fast

Not knowing what I’m doing

Just desire, need

Love hangs in the air

Such beauty and bliss and warmth

Two kiss happily

Quickly boarding plane

Looking through plastic window

Stunned by the white clouds
