Halloween

Halloween

A Poem by BlueShadow

Orange and black cheekered tablecloth covers the table

It’s Halloween, and life’s as surreal as a fable

The ghosts and ghouls, scariness and spook

Can cause you to crap your pants in a pile of doo

Halloween is a special occasion full of merriment and masks

Full of giant red blue and orange liquid filled flasks

Trick or treat will be interesting

With loads of candy to eat

I’m going to break last year’s record, in a feat

Slowly the moon goes up and the sun goes down

Getting rid of my usual frown

I love the night and its spooked filled tales

The night is windy tonight, full of gales

It’s almost midnight, the end of Halloween

Finally back to normal day to day dreams
