Sushi

Sushi

A Poem by BlueShadow

Sushi

Rice, seaweed, fish, and money

That’s all you really need

To make sushi that’s tasty and delicious

Except it’ll cost you a good penny

I love the salmon sushi

With its orange center

I wonder if soy sauce and wasabi will make it better

I love the tuna kind with its red dot

Looking like a blot

I love sushi especially with tempura shrimp

I don’t waste anything, not even a skimp

Food makes me feel better and less worrisome

Maybe it even makes me more handsome

Amazed by its looks and taste

I would hate to waste any chocolate cake

I love to eat because it makes my life more complete

In my house, there is rarely anything enough for me to eat

I quickly down the ramen bowl for lunch

Amazed by the food’s soothing nature to my hunch

I love food and its appearance

Colorful and hopefully on clearance

Soda, candy, lemonade, and sweet tea

A lot of things make me go hungry

Everyone loves a nice ham sandwich

With bacon, cheese, and lettuce on it

Are you a food junkie? I hope so

Cuz if you’re not you’re missing on a lot for your dough!
