The Best Hwae

I was living in Chang-Dong, South Korea for about a year when my dad bought tickets to go by train to Jeonju, Jeollabukdo. I was excited at the time because I had only been to Gyeonggido, South Korea and was wanting to go to somewhere else. I boarded the train quite hurriedly and sat in the seat as it sped at 200 MPH. The train was extraordinarily fun to ride and was a high speed train that I had never been on before. Jeonju was going to be interesting and fun to be in for a while. 

My dad and I reached Jeonju and were stunned by the extraordinarily vast array of restaurants in Jeonju. Jeonju was known for its extremely good food, even by Korean standards. Jeonju was super interesting with lots of new people, things to buy, and markets. I loved Korea because of how interesting the people were and how beautiful everything was. 

Jeonju was an exceptionally good place to eat in, and after several hours of searching my dad and I found a Korean restaurant in the rural part of Jeonju. They served, Hwae, or raw fish. The woman simply grabbed the fish from the fish tank and cut it up until we had pieces of raw fish. The fish was extremely good for eating with hot sauce and with the sauce I felt a huge rush of happiness when I ate the Hwae. Jeonju was an extremely fun town to be in and I loved every minute of it. After 3 days, my dad and I went on the KTX train and went back to Seoul, where we felt good about our lives in Chang-Dong. We were so happy to be in Seoul.
