Lightning and Rain

Lightning and Rain

A Poem by BlueShadow

Lightning strikes the ground

The birds hide in the willow

The house lights go off

The rain pours down quickly

The cars are stunned by the light

People run and hide in buildings

The storm slowly ceases

The rain comes down more gently

People become happier

Life becomes better and easier

The storm ends with the clouds

Flying past
