The Hospital Room

The Hospital Room

A Poem by BlueShadow

I can barely breathe, as tubes are in my mouth
Will I ever recover, sometimes I doubt
I look to the left, and see a blue wide sky
Compared to my actual state, a lie
I feel tired, dazed, and have no energy
Where are the Hospital keys?
Slowly, I can sit up, and I start to feel better
I am a man finally untethered
I finally gain the willpower to stand up
No longer in that deep abyss or ruck
