Winter Air

The frozen lake doesn’t budge as we skate across it carefree

The air captures our breath in a beautiful show of care

The snowflakes are like people, individual and a masterpiece

The love we have for each other makes us feel warm

The sky is light blue with beautiful clouds

We get on a sled and slide down the hill with glee and happiness

Our love for the winter is shown with mugs of hot chocolate

We feel a sense of warmth and compassion

Slowly, the winter starts to die

The flowers bloom and we feel so good

Love is everywhere 

The frost is gone
