Loving Yourself

        Insecurity is the result of self-hatred, which stems from not loving a part or aspect of yourself and feeling bad about it. Loving yourself means liking who you are, loving your strengths and weaknesses, and cherishing your gifts. Insecurities are imperfections in who we are because we are valuable, significant, and important creatures. Insecurities are normal and in my opinion they are actually necessary to make us feel human. Insecurities are important to acknowledge and accept.

It is totally normal to feel imperfect because we’re all human beings and we all have flaws and weaknesses that not only represent our humanity but also make us feel unique. Imperfections are to be cherished and loved. Loving yourself can take a long time, but with effort and determination you can make yourself feel happy. If you love yourself you will feel much better about your flaws.

Loving yourself is important because not only does it make you acknowledge that you have a high worth, but that others in society are valuable, important, and beautiful. Imperfections, insecurities, flaws, and weaknesses, are all critical and vital elements of our existence. If you love yourself, life will be much more pleasant no matter what the circumstances. 

Confidence and loving who you are are important to your own life because they make us valuable and worthy. Confidence allows you to navigate the difficult times in life and allows you to value hardships because they make you stronger. 

Life is so beautiful and worth living when you love yourself for who you are, not for what others demand you to be. I love myself for my weaknesses and faults because I know I am just human and that being human entails some pain. Love yourself because life is too short to be overly critical.
