Heart vs. Mind in Writing

Heart vs. Mind in Writing

A Story by BlueShadow

When I write, I try to make my writing beautiful, creative, informative, interesting, and original. I write from the mind meaning I care a lot about how deep and intellectually motivated it is. I love writing because it is the visualization of abstractions that can only be expressed in words. To write from the mind is to be able to write in a way that can be described as philosophical.

Writing from the heart, on the other hand, is writing with great compassion, empathy, and love, and is a form of writing that many women are very good at. Writing from the heart is being able to touch others in a way that make them inspired to do something good for someone else. Writing from the heart is something that should be admired.

So, all in all, writing from the heart and mind are two different ways of viewing our world. Writing from the mind means writing with correct grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Writing is a difficult endeavor which makes us think deeply about everything. I write from the mind which means the difficulty and depth of my writing matter a lot to me. Writing from the heart means writing with the ability to move others in a way that makes them inspired.
