Money

Money

A Poem by BlueShadow

The sound of metal

Clanging on the tabletop

Never satisfied, never settled

For a living she earns with a mop

For reimbursement

She gets one thousand dollars

Making life’s refinement

Within her

Life is much about money

For without it we’d be in chaos

Money adds structure and makes life funny

And let’s you buy mint floss
