Like vs. Love

Like vs. Love

A Story by BlueShadow

To like something means to enjoy it, have affection for it, or like its presence. Liking is also used when referring to a friend because people like their friends. Liking something is very dear to our hearts while loving is different. To love someone or something means you have a deep and profound affection or love for it and that you truly enjoy its existence. Loving is very important because without love, we’d be completely at loss for purpose in life. So, the fundamental difference between liking and loving is the degree to which you have positive feelings for it. Liking is a watered down version of love.
