What is an Icosahedron?

What is an Icosahedron?

A Story by BlueShadow

An icosahedron is a polyhedron with 20 faces, 12 vertices, and 30 edges. An icosahedron is a remarkable mathematical figure because of its beauty. To me, it resembles a gemstone. An icosahedron is very beautiful to the eye. A face is like one face of a cube, and a vertice is a corner of a cube. An edge is the side of a face represented by a line. An icosahedron is a beautiful geometric figure and to me is extraordinarily intricate, beautiful, stunning, and symmetrical. Icosahedrons are extremely interesting to me because of their structured appearance and beautiful shape. They are sort of like cubes, except more complex.
