Inclination vs. Effort

Throughout my school years, teachers have praised my writing as being interesting, sophisticated, original, and creative. I have always been a good writer from about the 6th grade and have enjoyed enthralling other classmates and teachers with my writing ability. I believe writing is both a predisposition and a result of effort. Although there are writers who are born better at writing than others, I also believe writers can improve their writing ability by reading, learning new words, and by listening. Writing is a process that takes a long time to master so you will never have to worry about reaching a dead end. Writing is fun for me and I enjoy writing because I love making up new worlds and detailing them like an artist. Writers should not only be good but also work hard. So while I believe writing is a fun thing to do, you can always improve by working hard.
