What is Verisimilitude?

Verisimilitude is a noun which means the quality of appearing real. This word is usually applied to the arts but can also be applied to just about anything that is in reality fake but appears real. Verisimilitude is a word that I think is very interesting not just because of how long it is but also it’s such a rarely used word. Verisimilitude is a word that you usually don’t encounter that often so being able to define and explain what this word is is quite an accomplishment. Verisimilitude is an interesting word to write about and is a rare word.
