Philosophically Different 2

Philosophically Different 2

A Story by BlueShadow

Math and philosophy differ in the way they treat the words “same” and “different”. 100 vanilla cupcakes, 100 apples, and 100 pencils are all the same in math, but unique in philosophy. 1 + 1 = 2 in math but in philosophy they are different. Philosophy is much more nuanced and detail oriented than math and is more picky about what answer you get. Math tends to generalize while philosophy is extremely individual when it comes to describing things. I like philosophy more than math because it is much more nuanced and particular when it comes to describing an object. To me, math is just too generalized.
