Nothing is everything means that nothingness, which is the absence of space-time, matter, and energy, pervades all of existence. Nothingness is extraordinary for its vast wide reach and saying that it is in reality everything means that it encapsulates all of existence. Nothing and nothingness are two different words with two different meanings. What nothing is everything really means is that nothingness is everything.
