A Day At Sally Mullin's Tavern - A Septimus Heap Fanfic

      Sally Mullin had mixed the dough, the water, the salt and sugar, the yeast, and the cinnamon together. She had made a barley cake and was ready to put the last one on the batch rack. Sally was so proud of herself that she had made something so delicious and so good and so wonderful and was excited that her life was going as planned. Her cafe was extraordinarily popular with the Castle and was remarkably successful for someone at her age, 55 years. Sally was excited to start a new day of selling pies, ale, and cakes.

The first customer came in with a commotion. “I’d like a jug of barley ale and a cake, please.” Sally replied, “All right, but it’s going to cost you 30 bronze ingots.” Sally was so happy that she was able to earn some money already, and the day was just getting started. Sally earned 1000 bronze ingots by the end of the day and was proud to have been able to. Sally thought her life was extremely good and found it wonderful that she was able to earn so much money so quickly.

Sally loved her job of selling barley ale, barley cakes, and pies of all sorts that made people full of food and not hungry. Sally loved her job as a cook and found it extremely amazing that her food was delicious and wonderful. Sally loved cooking and found her job wonderful to be in and was extremely happy doing her thing. She loved owning her tavern and was so glad that she was able to feed so many.
