To Describe Nostalgia

To me, life is like a journey, a road that winds itself through forests, rooms, buildings, museums, and other places. When I look back on my life, I feel a sense of longing, a desire to travel back in time and be with my old friends and places. However, as the saying goes, life is 20/20 hindsight. Nostalgia is a beautiful emotion but something that is not always accurate. Nostalgia is remarkable for how it feels, but sometimes it is inaccurate. Nostalgia entices us to be part of the past, but we know it isn’t really as good as it feels.
