Different Modes of Thinking

When we think, we usually think in terms of binary. Some examples include male vs female, up vs down, and left vs right. Thinking in binary is usually effective for most situations. Thinking in a higher order like in terms of 3, 4, and 5 instead of 2 isn't requiring higher thinking but a different way of thought. Thinking in terms of 3 or more can lead to new possibilities and expand our way of thinking. Binary is a simple but maybe too simple way of thinking. Thinking in a higher order makes things more complicated, but more profound.
