A Review of Esperanza Rising

Esperanza Rising, written by Pam Ryan, was an exceptionally and beautifully written book about an immigrant family from Mexico who come to the U.S. in search of a better life. It is an amazing, detailed, intricate, and a beautiful book. I like how the author mixes in aspects of Mexican culture to the book giving it a multicultural vantage point. Esperanza Rising is a wonderful, creative, and marvelous work of literature carefully detailing a migrant’s difficulties.
