Sleep

Sleep

A Poem by BlueShadow

The sun sets and the moon rises
The air is a bit chilly today
The blanket wonderfully disguises
The person in the bed of hay

The little girl sleeps in the bed
In the farm's beautiful shed
She dreams of being well-fed
From her toes to her head

Loving life and being happy
She wakes up content and rested
Not an ounce of being sappy
She feels glorious being tested

Life is so full of joys
If only one can remember
Like air, water, food, and toys
Life will be fun this December
