El Rancho de las Rosas - An Esperanza Rising Fanfic

     Abuelita was knitting a blanket while Esperanza was on the ranch, smelling the roses. Her father, Sixto, was in the ranch house when something happened. One of the clouds looked very dark, and the ranch was suddenly very dark and dreary looking and they all had to find some way to seek shelter. The storm was dark, gloomy, and quick, and when the sun reappeared everything was back to normal. Abuelita finished the blanket she was making and Esperanza felt good about her life on the ranch. Sixto was an extremely good-natured person and loved the ranch since it produced roses, wine, and other things. El Rancho de las Rosas was an extremely successful and beautiful place to be.
