This Year's Harvest - An Esperanza Rising Fanfiction

El Rancho de las Rosas was a sprawling farm growing grapes, peaches, apples, and other fruit. Esperanza watched the food grow slowly all year long and was astounded at how beautiful the fruit looked and how interesting everything looked. El Rancho de las Rosas was an extremely beautiful place to be and was full of life and beautiful growing. It was an extremely important time for Esperanza because she was about to see the harvest time.

Sixto, her father, came outside the ranch house to see the vineyard and all the other displays of beautiful fruits and love and was an extraordinarily astute person when it came to growing crops. Sixto loved his ranch and loved the stuff that grew on it. Sixto was exceptionally happy at what he did and loved his life a lot. He was excited about the harvest and couldn't wait to see what would happen.

Harvest time began and grapes and all other fruit were plucked off the branches. The year's harvest in total amounted to 1 million pounds of fruit. It was an exceptionally good harvest this year, and would bring in lots of money. Esperanza and her father were pleased.
