A Review of "The Long Winter", by Laura Ingalls WilderA Story by BlueShadow
"The Long Winter" was an exceptionally interesting, intriguing, and informative book that was full of interesting tidbits of info and excitement. In the book, I got to learn a lot about how an American pioneer family made do in their log cabin in the middle of nowhere and how they survived a hefty blizzard that was extraordinarily difficult to get through. They made bread, pancakes, syrup, venison, dolls, hay, and many other things to get through the challenging winter. The story was exceptionally interesting and well told and had a beautiful way of wording out everything in a remarkably interesting way. I loved the book and how beautiful its depictions of frontier living were. The book is an excellent way to learn more about how life was like in America in the 1800's and was so beautiful in so many ways. I loved the book and thought it was remarkably interesting. "The Long Winter" was an amazing book full of fun, laughter, and coziness.
