Two Different Stories

Two Different Stories

A Story by BlueShadow

Matt, John, Mother, and Father all sat around the table during dinner time. It was going to be a lovely day of eating, drinking, and of course, sleeping. Matt and John and the family said their prayers and began eating venison with gravy, buttered bread, peach cobbler, casserole, and a host of other things. Food was wonderful but so was dinner time. It was a lovely New Years Eve, and life was just getting started for the whole family. The family enjoyed their lives and loved eating good food. Matt and John left the table after eating and went to their rooms where they slept and had a good night's sleep. Mother and Father were feeling good about themselves having made the food together and slept, too.

The people of Azerynia were a storytelling and story-loving people. They lived in the desert where there was no water, food, or shelter. They only had each other and loved making and telling each other stories of peace, tragedy, happiness, love, and hope. They were a storytelling people and loved their stories so much that they memorized them. They loved telling each other stories of miracles and harmony and loved the lives they led. Their storytelling and story learning abilities were astoundingly good. All they had were stories. No food, water,  or housing. Their clothes were bought, too.
