The Crescent Moon

The moon shines like a green light

Way up high in the nighttime sky

It's so beautiful, big, and bright

I love the moon and its loving sight

The moon is so entrancing it feels like a dream

If you look closer it's like a blanket with seams

It sends down on us earthlings enchanting beams

It's wonderful for its pristine gleam

The crescent moon is shaped like a "C"

It's like it was made right for me

To see the crescent shape you need no fee

To see something to fill you with glee
