Does Anything Exist Outside The Universe?

For a long time I've pondered as to whether or not there exists something outside of the universe. As far as we know it, the universe is finite in size and is not infinite. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if we went outside the universe and visited the edges of existence. I wonder what people would find out about the nature of reality if they were able to go outside the universe and see what exists. The universe is a grand place, but I wonder, is there anything outside of it? Is there anything that holds it up? Is there anything that can be found outside of it? The universe is a remarkable place full of unknown questions and I often wonder and think about these simple yet deep questions on a daily basis.

What is outside the universe may be other universes. When talking about other dimensions, there could be a collection of many universes, called a multiverse. Sole destiny could be that the universe is part of a larger structure. Planets orbiting stars could be like electrons around the nucleus of an atom, that make up an enormous object of some kind.
