Monism

Monism is the philosophical idea that everything that exists can be classified into one type of substance. Monism is an interesting idea that chairs, stars, and water are all fundamentally the same thing since they’re made out of the same stuff. Monism is an extraordinarily interesting and intriguing idea to me because it classifies everything as one kind of thing. Monism states that no matter how different two things are, they are fundamentally the same substance. Monism is an interesting and wonderful idea that makes me think about the true nature of reality.
