The Cosmological Argument

   The cosmological argument for the existence of God is that the universe has either always existed, or it had a beginning and was created by God. To those who believe in the cosmological argument only one of these two possibilities are correct. To me, this argument is somewhat invalid as the universe may have had a beginning and not needed a creator. The cosmological argument for God is something that is quite intriguing logically speaking but is rather flimsy in terms of its intellectual rigor. The cosmological argument is very convincing but may need more work.
