The Korean Language

The Korean Language

A Story by BlueShadow

The Korean language is spoken in Korea and consists of 19 consonants and 21 vowels, for a total of 40 letters. The Korean language is a syllabary, which means the units of sounds are syllables. Korean is an exceptionally beautiful, complex, and culturally saturated language meaning that it has many cultural references. Korean was invented in Korea by phoneticists and others. Korean to me is an interesting, intriguing, and wonderful language that makes me proud of my heritage.
