Clouds in the Sky

The clouds hover above us like puffs

Of vapor, mist, and dew

I’m stunned by their appearance of fluff

They look like balls of hovering goo

The clouds are wonderful in beauty and form

I love their pass-through nature

They come in angry storms

And are gigantic in stature

Clouds make me feel like there is something above the sky

I always wondered what lied above them

They come in so quiet sometimes and sly

From their perspective I must be like a plant stem

Clouds are beautiful and wispy

Stunning for their elegance and charm

Their texture is in contrast to a potato chip crispy

And they are as soft as colored yarn

The clouds hold dreams from sleepers below

Capturing them with their invisible hands

The clouds make our imaginations grow

Through their effortless ability to stand
