Line and Dot

I see the blank paper

It’s like a blank canvas

I imagine lots of pictures, colors, people

On the pages of this beautiful square of hope

I write and write and write

Nothing but ideas flow from my pen today

Inspired by the beauty of peace

I scribble many different things

Lines are like imaginary constructions

Dots are like words, the basic unit of existence here

I love writing, it calms me down

Love is like a sweet radiance of joy and beauty abounding in unison

The paper is full 

Nothing else can go on it

I get up from my desk

And I find solace and comfort in my bed

It’s memory foam and wonderful to touch

I sleep like a baby and feel the warmth of the bed against my back

Love is like a cherry on top of a cake

Red, beautiful, and fulfilling
