Gift of the Soul

I sit at the edge of my room

Watching the computer

Stunned by the pastor

Talking about God’s mercy

For his children

But I wonder

Will everyone be saved

Maybe not

The church attendance is remarkably varied

With people from every country and race

Religion and creed

I love the church 

Its 2500 seating capacity filled to the brim

I am amazed by the unity of the population

All loving God and God loves them

The wonder of life fills the room

I love the church’s ambience

The cross breathes new life
