Wrote this about a crush that I thought I was over.

You won't catch me saying
there Ain't No Sunshine
but things do feel brighter

when you're nearby

Your absence is anxiety inducing
since it's so fun when you're here
and your presence does the same

equal parts joy and fear

I always think of jokes
and little pranks to pull
if they make you smile

I don't care if I'm the fool

And here I find myself
back at square three
I don't run out of words
unless you're in front of me
