Before the End

Deeply hurt by somebody very close.....

Had it been, any other being; I feel,
I could have survived the pain,
Dumped the distress, sought for a better end,
I'd have maybe, arranged and rearranged the closet,
to let time heal the wound,
Of which nobody even heard or knew,
The same, which you out of everybody, had to inflict upon me,
The very same which made me wake up in sweats and shudder all through.

Now as I sit, tracing the lines of this soaked tissue,
I know I wouldn't have come to the conclusion of concluding me like this,
Had it been any other being,
I probably would have sat in the same corner of this room,
Wishing you to come and console me with a kiss.

I liked this poem. Your enjabments were good, though for me the longer lines were perhaps a bit too long. Nonetheless there was a good flow. This might sound a bit picky, yet I couldn't help but notice you wrote the letter " i " without it being capitalized. (just something that popped to my eyes.) Glad I read this though ;)

Touching poem.. Emotions are very well penned..
The last line reminded me of a beautiful book- 'Fault in our stars', in which at the time of death of Augustus, Hazel Green says- "The only person I really wanted to talk to about Augustus Water's death with was Augustus Waters."
