Home is...

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Home is...

An upright tree stuck in its foundation

Home is...

A place to mature

A home always has family, loved ones

Family doesn’t always have to be blood

They can be friends, clubs, teachers

All connected with something

Home is where the heart is

A place to begin a new family

A place to grow

For the branches to break off

And form new trees

Growing into a tree community

A “Forset” by another name

Each tree has a mission

To grow and plant new trees

Showing the foundation

They recieved from the home tree

For home is a place to grow

To learn what their mission is

Growing in order to leave home

For a mission God and their family

Since this is the only earthly home

A home away from home

There is a legacy connected with this home

I agree with the logic in the poem. Home can be many things. Very hard to keep a family strong.

Growing in order to leave home"
