Missing the Moon

Missing the Moon

A Poem by icaros13
"

my apologies...

"
I'm not too smooth
on the bad days
I can be harsh,
a bit unfair

Sometimes the hurt
drips on the paper;
aggressive darts
in passive games

I'm getting better
with each sunrise,
not as familiar
with the moon,

No matter what
your situation
don't be afraid
to say hello

...
. a very heartfelt, earnest, honest, introspective, and endearing piece of poetry ... i'm sure a very charming poet and a very charming person wrote it ... if this is a message, i wish and pray and hope with all my heart that it reaches the intended recipient ...

We all have our bad days ;) But you are as smooth as can be! It doesn't seem to matter what your pen puts on paper it sings with emotion every time! Dropping in to say Hello! :)

For we have thought the larger thoughts And gone the shorter way. And we have danced to devil's tunes, Shivering home to pray; To serve one master in the night, Another in the day. ..I do love.. more..
