I found my Evil today
I thought I threw him away
And although it may be a sin
I picked him back up again

Where has he been, you may ask
Tucked in my heart's jagged crack
Now that we're together again
Evil and I are best friends

I found my Evil today
It delighted him in the way
He saw weakness and fear in your eyes
Soon you will say your goodbyes

I don't find it that straightforward. Maybe the idea could have been explored more thoroughly, but it is easy to like poetry when it jumps playfully at us like that :)
