TodayA Poem by icaros13
Liquid gold dripping through tiny vernal leaves
Of newly awakened trees The seductive voice of water spilling over stones Small people scurrying about their small tasks Blues filling the air, a bit too loud Hours that pass in moments Surreal, dreamlike Words that need to be free Hang in my throat, I dare not cheapen this day Surrounded by beauty, speaking to pulchritude Today, I am not alone I would weep, if only I could © 2012 icaros13Reviews
