Preface

Music soothes the soul, every beat, every rhythm, every sound heals the heart. It is the one of the things in life that will never go away, whether you are listening or writing the music. Connections can be established, without saying a single word.   When my fingers touch that guitar my whole world crashes around me, giving me a chance to let everything fall onto the empty staffs. The sparks fly throughout my entire body, making me feel invincible, pure, and worthy. It is the language of the universe; it has a special way of touching each and every one of us in its own way. Music is the key, and it’s waiting to be found.

The music started up, my fingers gliding on the guitar as the lyrics coursed out of my mouth. It was perfect, Tyler and I both sang in tune with each other almost as if we were one. I felt the room slowly fade away and it was just me and my guitar taking over, I went to my paradise, if only for a minute. It was the only thing no one could take away from me, ever. For that moment in time, I felt peace.

Music is my life.
