A poem I wrote for school. Yes, I was hungry when I wrote it. I still had an hour and a half before lunch.

Through the purple sugar-covered trees

And the chocolate wildberry bushes,

It's getting away from you.

 

Carried away by the winged-whales dancing in the multicolor sky

And passing puffs of candy-floss clouds,

It's getting away from you.

 

Riding down the Rocky Road River

And hopping over the gumball boulders,

It's getting away from you.

 

You better run, you better not hide.

The voices of those who were tempted will lead you astray.

It's running wild.

 

Keep going, don't give up.

You need to catch it quick and catch it now,

For you, my friend, have lost your mind.

No, this is not the best work I've done, but I like it. It made me hungry...
